Yorkies at Home
My intention is to show how our puppies are raised in our home before they are placed in their forever home. Since our Yorkies are raised in the house with us I thought some candid photos would help show why our Yorkies are different from those raised in kennels and cages.
This is my temporary office that I use to start training the very young and immature puppies to use the potty system. Because the yorkies can vary in size I separate the little ones out to work on their potty habits. It is always hard to get pictures like these as you always have to have a camera ready and everyone has to stay in position long enough for you to get the shot. Even though they are not great pictures you can get and idea of what life is like here as they grow up.
These two pictures are of my Border Collie Loki, he is my winter and bad weather dog. Where the Yorkies will not go Loki will. He lives in the house with the rest of us but as you can see the Yorkies think he is just another object they can stand on and play with. Loki is about 50 pounds and Peeper (as we nick-named her) the yorkie sitting on his back is barely 2 pounds.

I hope to add to these pictures in the future.
