BOARDING
From time to time I have been asked about boarding a Yorkie. This is
a difficult question for me to answer as I have no practical knowledge.
My general opinion is that I do not like kennels in veterinarian offices
as this is where you bring your sick pets and you do not want to expose
your pet to any contagious conditions.
One of my clients in NYC raves about Tiny Dog Boarding of New York City, where you can send your small (Toy Breeds) on vacation while you are out of town. After you look at her site you will know what I mean. I think this is a great idea and you can see by the pictures on the web site that the dogs are having a great time.
I am sure you would agree that this is a much better solution than sitting in a crate with little or no human contact for days or weeks while you are out of town or on vacation.
